The flood waters came, and washed everything away. Very fascinating, and interesting image. This reminds me of a hurricane's aftermath.
Cristophers Dream Artistry replied:
Thanks so very much Joseph.... While sitting in Church a week before Hurricane Isaac hit the New Orleans area, I got this "vision" for whatever reason. This is pretty darn close to what i saw, so i felt like sharing it. I felt the final piece needed a few more elements, so i added them.

I like your thoughts ab out the sailboat to Chris. The symbol of hope as there is always hope in life. Sometimes things look so huge but we can get through them. Fabulous art Chris!!! F/V
Cristophers Dream Artistry replied:
Wow, thanks so much Deborah, and yes there is always hope .

I like your thoughts about the red boat much better than mine. :)

WOW Cris~ such a Simple (& Perfectly Executed!) Scene... with SO MUCH Interest, Mystery, Power... not sure whether to feel Sadness or Hope... it's quite surreal & is such an illustration of Life Itself. It holds my Interest for a Long Time & I Love Art that does that.
Cristophers Dream Artistry replied:
Thanks Danielle, you're feeling ALL the right things. And i thank you for feeling them.
James Ahn

Cristophers Dream Artistry replied:

To me this is strong statement that means a couple of different things to me. The tiny boat and window sort of philosophical acceptance of the way things are. The water symbolic of the flood taking over society humanity. As well as Issac, in a symbolic way. With that this is a beautiful eye catching work of art. Prophetic. Most interesting is when and where the vision came to you. I think that makes this more global .. V/F
Cristophers Dream Artistry replied:
Deeply grateful for your thoughtful insight, as well as your appreciation Bob. Though i might add that to me, that the toy sailboat is the boy's escape and symbol of hope, even if it's imaginary.
